1. Understand the epidemiology and costs to the patient/health care system for undetected obsessive-compulsive disorder.
2. Be able to spot both typical and atypical presentations of obsessive-compulsive disorder as it appears in the primary care clinic.
3. Understand and be able to utilize specific screening and diagnostic questions for rapidly uncovering obsessive-compulsive disorder (includes patient videotape).
4. Learn specific triage tips and strategies for determining when to refer to a mental health professional.
