  1. Understand and be able to utilize the principles of facilic analysis (an innovative and practical paradigm for efficiently structuring interviews while sensitively attending to empathy and engagement).
  2. Be able to utilize a flexible strategy for arriving at a sound DSM IV differential diagnosis in sixty minutes, while gathering a comprehensive biopsychosocial history.
  3. Understand the principles behind writing a forensically sound and clinically useful record of the initial assessment.
